We are excited to offer a daily drift boat and rafting service on Australia’s finest rivers, including the mighty Goulburn River located just two hours from Melbourne.
Drift boat river floats
Wilderness Fly Fishing now offers both half-day and full day drift boat services on some of Australia’s best rivers, including the Goulburn River. Using a drift boat will give you full access to the river which allows you to fish 100% of the river in total comfort.
Our experienced drift boat guide, Bo Nikolic is arguably Australia's best drift boat guide. With more than 20 year's experience, Bo will have you in the hot spots for your entire drift. Both our American drift boat and NRS inflatable raft can accommodate one or two fly fishers.
If you have never fished from a drift boat it is one of the most exciting ways to fish a river with most fish being caught close to the boat, making for some electric sight fishing. You can fish for trout from the drift boat from September through to early June, so join us for an awesome experience on the water.

We have a stunning modern country guesthouse located in Marysville, very close to the Goulburn River. The house is fully self contained with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Relax after a drift on the river on the large outdoor deck looking down the stunning river valley or share your fishing story on the couch while sipping a wine. Not keen on cooking dinner or breakfast? The local pub and cafes are located a short five minute walk from the guesthouse. Accommodation must be booked separately.
